THE SOLUTION
Leveraging Azure Landing Zone Architecture
kloudr has implemented the Azure Landing Zone Architecture, a robust, secure, and scalable framework designed to streamline Sheyaaka’s cloud deployment. This meticulously designed architecture ensures the utmost efficiency in deploying services, managing resources, and upholding strict security standards, all while minimizing costs.
The Hub (Landing Zone):
In the Hub, kloudr integrated Azure Front Door, enabling global content delivery and establishing secure access to Sheyaaka’s applications. A Web Application Firewall (WAF) Policy further fortified security, shielding web applications from potential threats. To ensure safeguarded admin access and facilitate private deployment operations, a Jump Server VM was strategically implemented. The Private DNS Zone was employed to establish secure communication through custom domain names, while the Log Analytics Workspace provided invaluable insights from logs. Network Watcher continuously monitored the network’s health, with a Storage Account playing a pivotal role in supporting Network Watcher operations.
The Spoke (Landing Zone):
Within the Spoke, kloudr leveraged Azure App Services for streamlined web app deployment. Storage Accounts were strategically utilized to ensure secure data storage, while Azure Cache for Redis significantly enhanced app performance through efficient data caching. SQL Server optimization improved data storage and retrieval processes. Key Vault served as a secure repository for storing sensitive keys, secrets, and certificates. Lastly, the implementation of Private Endpoints established secure, private communication interfaces for Sheyaaka’s critical resources.
